The DT660 is clearly more bright than the DT250 and DT770. It's very comparable to the DT831

The K271 was given a break-in of approximately 48 hours. Further use might indeed improve performance but I never checked.
General note: Today my girl-friend returned from a short holiday. First thing she listened to was of course the Orpheus but after that she tested and compared DT860/HD650. Guess what, she preferred the DT860 to the HD650! The only problem is, that she has a rather small head and that the headband of the Beyer is a little bit too large for a comfortable fit. Not a problem for me, but I'm a bighead!
