The new blog for product announcements on the homepage should be finished soon. It will be tightly integrated with the forums, using the same accounts database and having many of the same features and a few new features. The interface will be like a blog, but forum users should feel right at home with it.

Coding is going very smoothly - payback for writing the forum application myself instead of going with one of the commercial or freeware packages.

There are bound to be BUGS that will affect forum operation! I am most concerned with compromises to security or any posting anomalies. PLEASE reports any bugs ASAP!!!

Thanks. Will let you know when the blog is ready.

Side note: the system will support multiple blogs. I may port some sections of the library over to blog format at some VERY distant date.

I think it turned out well. You can see it by going to the HeadWize homepage or the News section.

My next project will be to port the Library materials over to a blog format or create a blog-based directory. I think I may do the directory next. I've been trying to figure out how to update the directory application in the face of powerful search engines like Google. A blog-based directory adds value over a search engine without making the coding too ocmplex.
