It seems they only let you change an attached file 35 times before it gets lost. <evil grin>

I haven't tried them, but the MJE340/350 are rated at only 0.5A. While that is more than sufficient for normal circumstances, an accidental output short circuit may also cause them to be damaged more easily than the default MJE243/253 or BD139/140.

These are available from B&D Enterprises in the US. Note reversed pinout and TO-220 instead of TO126/TO-225AA package.

100pF will round off the square wave response a bit. It would be best if you stay with 33pF.

Hopefully this is the last parts list I post.
It now contains Farnell part numbers for everything. <smile>

Now please excuse me while I return to listening to my "SOHA buffers"

Three to four weeks depending on how long it takes Canadian customs to process your parcel.

Mister X: Not sure if your Farnell No's all apply for Australia. I've attached my Rev A of the BOM in excel format, for the next rev I'll include the fact that I need to populate 10 boards, and aim to compare purchase in Australia vs US.

I don't have local source for Q5 or Q6 so far (other than the MJE243/MJE253).

Oh yeah, still need the SOHA kits...

I tell a lie, I have the BD137/138. I'd guess that these'd be the most likely candidates for the 3R3 resistors on the output?

I only cross checked them for Europe so I can't say that comes as any surprise. <wink>

I can't speak for everybody but I normally use 1/2" long 4/40 imperial flat head screws, nuts and 1/4" plastic spacers.

MisterX,

What's that before the buffers? I can't quite make out the chips in the picture. As a guess, it looks like an AC rectification stage, but I don't recognize the board, layout or chips.

I've been away from DIY for a bit here, and it seems like things have progressed <smile>
One question, is there any parts changes recommended on the actual SOHA board to support the JISBOS? I remember a post on Head-Fi awhile back but shedding some light on it again is something I'm looking into (to update my SOHA page).

You might need to add heatsinks to the SOHA voltage regulators if they run hot with JISBOS.

I have not tested with them, but you can certainly try them if you wish, noting the reversed pinouts.
