Hello Zang
Certainly commentaries AD are good in simple and dual,
a simple comparison of a companion in this forum, AD single 8610 vs dual 8620, in its opinion, the dual sound perhaps a little excessive brightness, only reason that makes me think that the simple one is better for my k501(where they sin), the price almost does not have variation in both cases, another reason (that I see now) towards the single AD, is going it to dedicate to semiprofessional use, dissipating better the heat (soha gift to the musical group)
I do not know if of this form will give more power to Sennheiser of 32 ohm, this Soha can be necessary to use BUF <confused>
I request aid to you in this point and in any other suggestion

I do not have opportunity for a comparison either <confused>

Tonight I have experimented with the OPA2227,it seems that the sound is saturated before, to low volume improves the low end, anyway, encounter much more difference in the tubes, miniwatt remains ignition several seconds after retiring it, Tesla and Haltron with structure similar to the ECC81 and bulb a little wider, they are illuminated like light bulbs in the ignition, warming up plus the LM337 and with a sound a little more aggressive.
("all my opinions are surroundings to my AKGs")
been thankful to all <smile>

greetings

I did not have much esteem by the JAN ECG 5814A (in other projects with high voltage plate) with surprise, it has given a sound me that I like.
More or less this it is its lodging, usb hdd case, I will make its adaptation, components for the other side PCB (more relay circuit based ne555 or e12,of course with the blue LED)

As it is your opinion, R4/14 with pins, similar to tests for R6/16, after obtaining the value for 40V, adding it for R3/13 value fixed?

Greetings
Fernan

Greetings all! I finished my SOHA (finally!) a few nights ago. It sounds GREAT! (After I found the solder points I missed, anyway...) I tested it out with the JJ 12au7 for starters, but have recently rolled to a '62 RCA clear-top 12au7. Bottom end is nice and full. Highs sound nice and open. Now to stuff it in a case. Here's a link to my flickr site where I posted the pics.

From that one, you can find the other 3 pics I posted.

On a side note, I read somewhere about proper turn on and shut down. Sorry to sound newbish, but I unplug the cans and then shut down. Is that correct? Thanks for any clarification on this one.

Zang-
A TON of thanks, sir! <big grin> I finally got this one running! Awesome work.

I would have the headphones unplugged for both power up and down...connect your meter to left or right channel on the output jack set on DC mV to see why.
